We offer personalized, holistic care before, during, and after death. Our work centers the needs, values, and pace of the dying person and their support network.
Support Services
We offer an array of personalized services that fit the needs of the individual and family we are working with. Additionally, we offer consultation & workshops for community groups and healthcare providers. Please contact us to discuss which services would be most helpful.
-
Working with individuals at all stages of life to foster a meaningful and inspiring relationship with one’s mortality. One-on-one or group sessions designed to evolve ones’ fear of death into purposeful, joyful action and an embrace of life’s natural processes.
-
Creating personally meaningful routines and experiences, assisting with Legacy Projects, and helping individuals discover and articulate what brings purpose and joy to their lives.
-
Specifically curated creative or documentary projects designed in celebration, ritual, or remembrance. Legacy Projects provide a tangible way to honor a life (or a moment), and provide an artifact of remembrance for ancestors and loved ones.
-
Providing engaging companionship both out in the world and in the home, with a focus on patient and family values and making meaningful experiences, tailored to individual preferences and abilities.
-
Assisting with daily tasks such as dishes, cleaning, laundry, food preparation, errand running (such as grocery shopping or dry cleaning), and other general household needs to alleviate burdens and provide the comfort of a tidy and abundant living space.
-
Offering dedicated time for primary caregivers to restore and replenish, providing compassionate and reliable care for their loved ones during their absence.
-
Providing gentle assistance with feeding, lotioning, teeth brushing, toileting, and other personal hygiene needs. This may include soothing activities like hair brushing, hand massage, and head rubs, as well as reading aloud, engaging with client memories, and offering genuine friendship.
-
Serving as a patient advocate with medical care teams and assisting with Hospice coordination to ensure optimal care and support.
-
Holding a calm presence and serving as a session coordinator for family care and remembrance conversations, fostering open communication and understanding during challenging times.
-
Ensuring 24-hour bedside support specifically reserved for those in active dying. Planning and facilitating a sacred and calm energy in the dying space.
